Supply Chain Management Project Coordinator

This individual will serve as a local point-of-contact and project coordinator to assist a consulting firm in managing, collecting, validating, analyzing, and creating reports in order to optimize a supply chain management organization. The activities for this role include:

• Use project management skills to build the overall project plan
• Work with the client to establish employee roles and task definitions
• Participate in client meetings
• Publish weekly status reports
• Build employee survey templates to capture employee data including, salaries, work activities, and other similar elements
• Engage the client in the implementation and distribution of employee surveys
• From collected survey data build a comprehensive model using a database/spreadsheet
• Validate with client that employee survey information is accurate and can be analyzed
• Identify and communicate any discrepancies and outliers in the data
• Identify information patterns, gaps, overlap, and report on findings
• Create summary level reports from the data
• Translate, advise, and assist with optimization using the model as the foundation
• Consult with the client on practices for potential optimization
• Support queries utilizing the model and/or by writing and creating custom reports
• Contribute input and data to the final client deliverable
• Work with the team to edit and review other project deliverables and final presentation

Required Skills: Five to seven years of IT, HR or Financial analyst experience. One to two years of project management experience. Expert knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint, ability to write and edit macros, write SQL queries, and perform limited programming, strong understanding of Human Resource/IT processes and data collection methods, excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills, and previous exposure to project-related or consulting activities.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, computer science, financial, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Certifications.
• Retail/Supply Chain Management Knowledge
• Consulting or account management experience
• Understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes
• Experience with data visualization tools
