Lead Applied Scientist

To support the innovative Agentforce Operations team, the full-time remote Lead Applied Scientist will design and implement deep learning models, prototype new architectures for enterprise data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into production-ready features. Key responsibilities Design, implement, and train novel deep learning models on large-scale GPU clusters Prototype new architectures and algorithms for various types of enterprise data Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to convert research into functional features Required qualifications Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with an AI/ML research focus Experience developing, deploying, and evaluating machine learning models in production or research environments Deep understanding of transformer architectures and advanced retrieval mechanisms Production-grade Python skills, including experience with frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow Experience training large-scale models across distributed GPU clusters using tools like DeepSpeed or TorchTitan
