Corporate Safety Manager

Being involved in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, vehicles, clean energy, pharmaceutical, oil, gas, mining, and industrial applications.

A strong safety culture doesn’t happen by accident — it’s built by leaders who roll up their sleeves, stay present on the floor, and drive disciplined execution through action. We’re seeking a Corporate Safety Director who is highly hands‑on and deeply engaged with day‑to‑day operations across our multi‑state manufacturing organization. This role succeeds through expertise, credibility, and partnership — influencing teams, elevating operations, and shaping a proactive safety culture by being in the facilities, working alongside people, and leading by example.

This role requires on‑site presence; applicants must reside near Hanover, PA or Houston, TX.

What You’ll Do

• Drive safety strategy by being present in the facilities, partnering with leaders, and ensuring consistent execution across all states.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and state‑specific requirements through audits, inspections, and proactive risk identification.
• Manage workers’ compensation programs across multiple states, including claim oversight, carrier/TPA coordination, and EMR improvement efforts.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver training tailored to each facility’s needs and state requirements.
• Implement corporate safety programs such as behavior‑based safety, hazard communication, emergency response, and industrial hygiene.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, HR, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to embed safety into processes, equipment changes, and facility expansions.
• Coach and influence leaders at all levels to strengthen accountability, hazard awareness, and employee engagement.
• Analyze safety and claim data to identify trends, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring



• Deep safety expertise grounded in a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Multi‑state manufacturing experience with a proven ability to navigate varying regulatory requirements.
• 7+ years of progressive safety leadership where you’ve driven results without relying on direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and state‑specific regulations and the ability to interpret and apply them in real‑world operations.
• Workers’ compensation program management experience across multiple states, including claims oversight and EMR strategy.
• Exceptional communication and coaching skills — you know how to influence, guide, and elevate leaders at every level.
• A hands‑on, in‑the‑facility leadership style that builds credibility and trust.
• Problem‑solving and analytical strength with the ability to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Preferred strengths include:

• CSP, ASP, or similar certification demonstrating advanced professional competency.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
• A track record of managing EMR strategies and driving cost‑control initiatives.
