Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule

This position involves 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility to stay until the last patient is cared for is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will be an integral part of a team that performs a variety of advanced cardiovascular procedures. This role necessitates comprehensive knowledge of invasive cardiology, including complex coronary procedures and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in invasive cardiac procedures, including electrophysiology and catheterization.
• Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring optimal care and safety.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as required.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a cardiac or critical care setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to care for diverse patient populations, including COVID patients.
