Engineer II

Description Assist in designing experiments to provide data-based conclusions about a process or product performance. Conduct analytical techniques with the ability to interpret results for project recommendations. Write technical reports detailing procedures, outcomes, and observations. Develop test methods for evaluation of new products. Support projects at the work location that require the assigned effort or task completion. Implement process improvements and monitor for efficacy. Assist in developing specifications for a product and/or process. Assist with implementing corrective actions (CAPA) with QA where applicable. Assist in equipment IQ/OQ/PQ validations. Assist in training process technicians and operators. Aid in writing OQ/PQ process validations. Operate processing equipment in a specific process area. Conduct risk assessment activities such as FMEA. Assist in the creation of publishable research findings in the form of abstracts, papers, and grants. Train in understanding patent language where applicable. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field of science or engineering Baseline Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively Ability to think creatively, critically, and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver on time for projects Perform basic statistical analysis of results Personal computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and specialized applications Ability to handle confidential business information Preferred Experience Prior exposure to melt extrusion processing is advantageous.
