With a 1:6–1:8 nurse-to-patient ratio, you'll benefit from balanced assignments and a supportive, team-oriented culture. We provide care across child, adult, geriatric, and forensic populations while promoting strong work-life balance and professional growth.How you'll contributeA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role will:Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered NurseConduct patient observations and safety checksAdminister medications safely and according to protocolTranscribe and carry out physician orders accuratelyDocument patient status, response to interventions, and progress toward goalsAssist with psychiatric emergencies and crisis stabilizationEducate patients and families on treatment plans and care expectationsServe as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity, rights, and confidentialityParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment planningSupport detox monitoring protocols as applicablePromote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environmentWhat we're looking forApplicants should have a current LPN license in the state of Massachusetts and graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Additional requirements include:Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required upon hireCPI or Handle With Care certification preferred or obtained within 30 daysBehavioral Health, Psychiatric, Detox, or Med/Surg experience preferredFamiliarity with trauma-informed care practices preferredStrong communication and de-escalation skillsAbility to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situationsCommitment to patient-centered careSchedule3x12, nights (7p–7a), rotating weekendsWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
