This individual will be accountable for overseeing the accounting department, inventory accounting, cash flow oversight, and day-to-day financial operations. Responsibilities: Direct the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial packages, along with commentary and key supporting materials. Manage the core accounting operations including billing, ledger management, and payroll processes. Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements. Establish and uphold accounting policies, procedural standards, and internal frameworks to preserve financial data quality. Generate and evaluate monthly financial reports such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries for precision and consistency. Manage external audit processes and serve as the primary contact for the auditing team. Mentor and lead an accounting team, combining tactical execution with strategic oversight in a highly involved leadership role. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from a highly regarded university; CPA license is highly desired. 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership, including 5+ years in a publicly traded organization. Background in public accounting is essential, with preference for candidates from Big 4 firms. Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer goods is required. Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication abilities. Total compensation will depend on experience and location, ranging from $180,000 to $220,000 + Bonus & Equity.
