Large Press Set-Up Operator IIICustom Sheet Metal Manufacturing Company seeking an experienced Large Press Set-Up Operator III to join our growing team at our facility in Mendota Heights, MN. This role is responsible for complex press set-ups, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality parts to customer specifications.Responsibilities:Set up and operate large presses for complex tooling (draws, forms, progressives, etc.)Read and interpret complex blueprints and job routings.Perform root cause analysis on die or press issues.Coordinate with Tool Room and Maintenance for repairs.Train and mentor Level I & II operators.Qualifications:2+ years of metal fabrication or related experience (press operation preferred).Must have experience working with Presses up to 460 tons.Strong blueprint reading and complex setup experience.Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.High school diploma or GED preferred.This is a direct hire, long term career opportunity, the starting pay range is $35-$45 an hour (doe) plus benefits and room for advancement.
