This position offers:Competitive base rate -$30 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.Medical/Prescription Drug/Dental/Vision Benefits on Day 1 of employment401(k) Retirement Savings Plan4.5% company match if you contribute at least 5%Quarterly Bonus potentialPaid Time Off (PTO)8 company paid holidays per yearEmployer paid Life Insurance, AD & D plus optional coverage for yourself, spouse and child(ren)Employee Assistance ProgramMN Paid Leave/and/or Short-Term Disability provided by ARCH$2,000 Sign on BonusJoin our team if you thrive in a challenging, meaningful work environment and take pride in precision, accountability, and craftsmanship!Position Summary:Produce machined parts by setting up, programming and operating a Mill computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment.Primary Responsibilities:Sets up parts in CNC machines without assistance or supervisionChange tools, adjust heights and tool comps to maintain required quality output of machineInspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet specifications, complying with established standards and methods for inspection, testing, evaluation and calibrationFollow all job work order instructionsMust be able to run more than one machine where cycle time permitsComplete all required shop floor documentation for the job including both part-dimensional and visual inspectionMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; reports to management/maintenance the need for machine repairsUnderstands and complies with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standardsQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentDue to contractual requirements, this position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Preferred Qualifications:Experience editing CNC machine programs and writing basic programsAbility to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferredStrong math backgroundDemonstrated problem solving abilityStrong attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Demands and Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, continuous mental and visual attention is needed. The ability to stand for a shift, sit, talk and hear is frequently required. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required.
