Site Manager

TRC Talent Solutions is partnered with a leading systems integrator who is seeking a Site Manager to oversee onsite installation, commissioning, and project coordination activities for building automation, HVAC, instrumentation, and control system projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Location: Customer Site in Ann Arbor, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to commissioning and field teams.

• Serve as the main onsite contact for customers and trade partners.

• Coordinate installation activities, schedules, and commissioning efforts.

• Participate in project, commissioning, and design review meetings.

• Review P&IDs, specifications, and instrumentation requirements.

• Inspect instrumentation, controls, and electrical installations for quality and compliance.

• Support functional testing, loop checks, startup, and customer acceptance testing.

• Track project progress, maintain site documentation, and generate daily reports.

• Receive and verify equipment deliveries and support MEP subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree in Engineering, Controls, Instrumentation, Construction Management, or related field.

• Previous Site Management, Project Management, or commissioning experience.

• Ability to lead meetings and coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and technical specifications.

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, building automation systems, instrumentation, and control valves.

• Experience with Rockwell, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, or Ignition platforms.

• Building automation, industrial controls, or onsite commissioning experience.
