Neuro Medicine Student Nurse Tech (SNT) - PRN - Days or Nights

Role Purpose Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse. Requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent. Shift Availability Two shifts every 6 weeks – Days or Nights available. Responsibilities Assist the nurse with patient and family education; document all patient care activities with correct medical terminology. Act as a 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary. Ensure the availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient’s needs. Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team. Collect clinical data and information on patients and report abnormal findings to the nurse. Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Education : Enrolled in an accredited RN program; currently enrolled in an accredited ADN or BSN nursing school program; completed nursing fundamentals or equivalent course. Experience : No experience required. Supervisor Experience : No experience required. Preferred Education : Enrolled in an accredited BSN program.
