Clinical Data Coordinator

A growing biotech company is looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Data Coordinator to support the accurate migration, maintenance, and validation of critical business information. In this contract role, the successful candidate will help ensure documentation and records are properly captured, updated, and maintained within internal quality management systems. About the Role The ideal candidate brings strong data accuracy, organization, and system management skills, along with a genuine commitment to maintaining reliable and compliant records. Accuracy matters more than speed in this role. This is position is remote, however consultant must reside in NY, NJ, or CT and be willing to come onsite to NYC twice/month. This is a 6 month contract. Responsibilities Data Management & Entry Transfer and organize information from various sources, including email communications and supporting documentation, into internal tracking and quality systems. Maintain accurate records by entering, updating, and organizing large volumes of data in a timely manner. Data Review & Quality Control Perform routine checks to confirm information is complete, accurate, and consistent across systems. Research and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, or missing information to maintain high‑quality records. Documentation Compliance & Confidentiality Manage sensitive company and customer information while following established privacy, security, and compliance requirements. Support documentation practices aligned with quality management standards. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience supporting data entry, document control, administrative operations, quality systems, or a related function. Advanced computer skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, and experience working within cloud‑based platforms. Exceptional typing capabilities (85–100 words per minute preferred) with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to resolve problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to gather information and clarify documentation needs across teams. Required Skills Strong data accuracy and organization skills.
