Litigation Associate

Location: Hybrid (in-office presence required)

Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate to support a growing practice focused on complex commercial matters. This role is well-suited for an attorney who wants hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of litigation and values being in the office with a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all phases of complex commercial litigation, from initial filings through trial and appeal, under partner supervision
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings in state and federal courts
• Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy alongside senior attorneys
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to requests and overseeing document review
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation across a range of business disputes, including financial services, securities, and real estate matters
• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and co-counsel, providing clear and practical updates

Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic performance
• Admitted to the Florida Bar
• Prior litigation experience required, ideally within a top law firm environment
• Strong academic credentials from a top law school
• Excellent writing and oral presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Professional presence with strong collaboration skills and interest in trial-focused work
• Motivated, ambitious, and brings a strong work ethic

Additional Details

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with consistent in-office expectations
• Billable Requirement: Approximately 1,850 hours annually
