A confidential Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment litigation associate to support a busy practice handling both employer-side and employee-side matters. This is a strong fit for an attorney who enjoys hands-on case work, direct client interaction, and taking ownership of litigation strategy while working within a collegial, team-oriented environment.

THE ROLE

• Handle employment litigation matters involving wage and hour, discrimination, and harassment claims.
• Manage day-to-day case activity including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Support workplace investigations and advise clients on employment-related risk and strategy in the context of disputes.
• Maintain strong client service and contribute to business development through client relationships and responsiveness.

Hybrid, with an in-office expectation of 2 days per week

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 8 years of employment litigation experience (targeting approximately 6 years).
• Active Florida Bar admission and in good standing.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Substantive experience or strong working knowledge across wage and hour, discrimination, and harassment matters.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workload effectively and drive matters forward with appropriate autonomy.
• Strong professional judgment, writing skills, and client-facing communication.
• Team-oriented approach and a consistently respectful, collaborative working style.
