Location/Schedule: Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Base Salary: Up to $200k (plus performance bonuses)

Practice: Medical Malpractice Defense – Defense of physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems, and other medical professionals in complex and high-stakes malpractice litigation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers in medical malpractice and related healthcare litigation.
• Manage cases from initial investigation through discovery, depositions, expert coordination, motion practice, and trial.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations, court hearings, and trial proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with clients, claims professionals, and partners to develop effective defense strategies.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with increasing autonomy.

Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):

• JD and active FL bar.
• 3–8 years of medical malpractice defense or complex healthcare litigation experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills with a genuine interest in trial work.
