Merck seeks a Lead Technician for packaging operations at its De Soto manufacturing facility. This role oversees day-to-day packaging operations while ensuring safety, quality compliance, and productivity across the team.

Responsibilities

Lead packaging operations team with coaching and performance management support
Ensure safety compliance, incident reporting, and corrective action follow-up
Oversee quality assurance tasks including documentation and GMP compliance
Maintain production schedules and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Facilitate tier-one meetings and collaborate with site operations stakeholders

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Three or more years manufacturing or related experience
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and cGMP standards
Experience with safety compliance and EHS protocols
Demonstrated leadership and employee coaching abilities
Familiarity with production scheduling and operational efficiency

Compensation: $65,100 - $102,500 base
