The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. They operate within organizational policies, ensuring professional growth and accountability, and coordinate patient care activities to maintain quality standards. Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's preferred), current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license, and BCLS certification. New graduates are eligible, with preferred hospital experience. Additional certifications vary by specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP, which may be required within specified timeframes. A sign‑on bonus is available.
