Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial support to Kraton's management teams by ensuring best-in-class financial processes and financial reporting is provided to key internal and external stakeholders; compliance with the required International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); driving Kraton's ability to report reliable and accurate information about the business; and partnering with the commercial and operating teams to derive shareholder value. Build and enhance reporting to provide meaningful insight into current and future performance Liaise directly with Segment Controllers and VP Supply Chain and Logistics for financial insight on both current period analytics as well as point of view development for forecast builds. Manage delivery of key reporting metrics for Kraton Pine Chemical Leadership Team. Perform ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested. Required Skills 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and accounting required. Knowledge of accounting policies and practices. Excellent problem solving skills, detailed oriented with focus on quality and accuracy. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment. SAP experience (FI/COPA/BI) preferred. Experience with BPC a plus. Strong financial analysis experience and cost accounting experience is preferred. Ability to work in a highly automated environment and pull data and translate it into meaningful business information. Effective communication skills - written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation with an emphasis in the English language. Solid judgment and decision-making skills. Experience working collaboratively within a matrix work environment and team structure across geographic boundaries. Education, Certifications & Licenses Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA a plus.
