Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled EP/Cath Lab RN to provide high-quality patient care in a busy electrophysiology and catheterization laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will support complex procedures and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care before, during, and after electrophysiology and cath lab procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment such as GE and ESI systems.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently using Meditech and MacLab systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to coordinate care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ACLS certification and possess EKG interpretation training.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology and cath lab settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Pacemaker, Ablation, Watchman, and Cryoablation procedures.
• Be capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Promote a professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Hold CPR certification and relevant clinical credentials.
