Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Locums - Missouri - No Onsite Call

Exciting locum tenens opportunity for Internal Medicine specialists in Hematology and Oncology in Missouri, near major airports.

Highlights

• Outpatient setting with manageable patient load
• Call coverage purely via phone-no onsite presence required
• Flexible schedule: Only one weekend per month required
• Opportunity to focus on patient care with no teaching or supervision duties

Practice Setting

• Outpatient care focusing on Hematology and Oncology
• Admissions required
• Hospital privileges required; facility is stroke certified

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Call is one weekend per month: Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM
• Phone call coverage, no requirement to come onsite during weekends

Cases and Procedures

• Manage 20-25 patients per shift
• Focus on clinical guidance for oncology/hematology patients

Requirements

• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty in Hematology/Oncology
• Licensed in Missouri (IMLC not applicable)
• BLS certification required

Other Details

• Estimated credentialing time: 60 days
• Insurance provided by vendor
• No onsite supervision or teaching responsibilities
