Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opening Rockland County, NY A federally qualified health center offering comprehensive care in Rockland and Sullivan Counties.   • Join our Acute Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a high-volume urgent care setting
  • Multiple providers and nurses per shift
  • On-site lab and X-ray with radiologist over-read
  • Access to multiple on-site specialties for consultation
  • No nightly call
  • Flexible schedule: daytime, one evening per week, Fridays, and weekends
    • Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical exams, assessments, and treatment of acute and sub-acute conditions
  • Order and interpret imaging and laboratory testing
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, and splinting (preferred but not required)
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary care team

  • $3,500 sign-on bonus for full-time NP/PA
  • Competitive salary range: $117,000 $145,000 annually

  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Active, unrestricted NYS license and certification
  • Active NY DEA registration
  • BLS certification
