Our portfolio includes trusted industry brands like Pioneer®, Brevant®, and Hoegemeyer®, delivering performance farmers rely on.​ \n \n Join us to help scale innovation globally and shape what’s next in crop science. \n \n \n \n Vylor has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team at our St. Joseph, Illinois location!\n \n \n \n What You Will Do: \n \n \n Model Safety as the number one (1) focus and be a Safety Steward of the designated program \n Perform a variety of tasks associated with general plant, field, and warehouse operations that evolve with each season throughout the year \n Accurately monitor highly automated equipment for processes such as harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing \n Assist with the oversight of receiving, conditioning, packaging, harvest, product return, and precleaning. \n Participate in harvest activities such as preparation, drying, shelling, husk oversight, product unloading, and other relevant processes \n Product return and sorting activities \n Actively participate in conditioning activities such as sizing, gravity operation, packaging, palletizing, etc. \n Field activities such as scouting, inspection, and managing logistics \n Perform warehouse activities such as forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, and other duties associated \n Various other duties as assigned \n \n \n Education \n \n \n You have your High School Diploma/GED OR are willing and able to obtain your GED within twelve (12) months of hire as a condition of employment \n \n \n What Skills You Need: \n \n \n You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting \n You are comfortable with technology and possess good a computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required \n You have high diligence can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent problem-solving skills \n You have a valid US Driver’s License \n You possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers \n You demonstrate integrity and promote a positive working environment by being an initiative-taker and willing to assist team members consistently \n You uphold health and safety to the highest standard! This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made. \n \n \n Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to legal requirements and board approval.
