### Exciting Opportunity for a Radiation Therapist! **Job Description:** - Join a busy 3 linac site with a dynamic team! - Work with cutting-edge Varian linacs: True Beam, Halcyon, and 21iX. - Utilize a Siemens CT simulator (note: CT simulations not required). **Position Highlights:** - **Travel Experience:** Not required. - **Shift Options:** - Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:30) - Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) - **Hours Flexibility:** Float between locations as needed, primarily in the Wilmington, NC coastal region. - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years in the field; first-time travelers welcome! **Core Responsibilities:** - Provide adult outpatient care for a diverse patient population. - Work with treatment units including: - Benign Brain Tumors - Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials - Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) - Implement advanced techniques such as: - IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) - Radiation Safety Practices - CBCT/kV/mV imaging **Team Collaboration:** - Supported by an interdisciplinary team including an MD and RN on-site throughout the day. - Collaborate in a team of therapists; never work alone! **Required Skills and Certifications:** - Current ARRT T and BLS certifications preferred. - Profound knowledge of charting systems and various treatment modalities. **Patient Care:** - Engage with an average daily census of 110 patients. - Focus on delivering high-quality treatments while ensuring patient safety. **Logistics:** - 2 requests for pre-approved time off. - Opportunity to work either 5x8 or 4x10 shifts depending on clinic needs. **Additional Information:** - Open to local coverage and rotation between two clinics (approximately a 30-minute drive between them). - No weekend work or call requirement. - Royal blue scrubs required (not provided).
