Sr DevOps Engineer

Salary: $77,500 - 105,500 per year Requirements:

• Were looking for 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• We need strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• We expect extensive experience building Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Were looking for experience designing and supporting modern CI/CD pipelines.
• We need strong scripting and automation ability with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools.
• We expect experience working with Git-based source control and automated deployment workflows.
• Were looking for experience monitoring cloud applications and infrastructure with observability platforms.
• We need a solid understanding of networking, identity management, cloud security, and infrastructure architecture.
• We expect experience troubleshooting production environments and improving operational reliability.
• Were looking for proven experience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives, and influencing best practices without direct management authority.
• We need excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: experience with Azure infrastructure and cloud services, cloud migration initiatives, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services, and cost optimization or cloud governance practices.
• Nice to have: ability to read, troubleshoot, and make small changes to C# and TypeScript applications; experience supporting platform engineering or internal developer platforms; and relevant Microsoft Azure, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or related cloud certifications.

• We design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• We architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and consistency.
• We partner with software engineers to streamline application deployments and operational workflows.
• We monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems.
• We automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
• We implement and maintain cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance controls.
• We support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
• We participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
• We evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend platform improvements.
• We contribute to cloud architecture decisions, including modernization and migration initiatives.
• We mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching.
• We promote engineering best practices through documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• We serve as a technical leader by helping establish standards, improve engineering processes, and influence platform direction.
