This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families, helping students achieve their fullest potential both academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, specifically with middle school students, is strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of IEP development, assessments, and progress reporting
• Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs
• Excellent communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional performance in a school environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans and IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate student participation in classroom activities
• Provide direct therapy as well as consultation within the school setting
• Document services, maintain up-to-date records, and contribute to IEP meetings and evaluations
• Foster positive relationships to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
