Product Manager

The Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing and delivering world-class IT products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing enhancements of our products. Responsibilities Product Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product strategy in alignment with the company's vision and goals. Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation. Product Roadmap: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, features, and release schedules. Prioritize features based on customer needs and market demand. Understanding of Software Development: The IT product manager should be well‑versed in software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. He or she needs to understand the software development lifecycle and be able to work effectively within these frameworks. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales and support teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. Translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of products. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Product Development: Lead the product development process from concept to launch. Define product specifications, use stories, and acceptance criteria. Monitor development progress, provide guidance, and resolve any issues that may arise. User Experience (UX): Champion a user‑centric approach to product design. Work with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and customer training. Monitor product performance and gather feedback for iterative improvements. Product Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of products. Use data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product features. Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to retirement. Make recommendations on product enhancements, updates, or sunsetting based on market analysis and customer feedback. The incoming IT Product Manager should be able to discuss data‑related requirements with the development team. DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial for coordinating efficient product development and deployment processes. Data Analytics and Metrics: The IT Product Manager should be comfortable with data analysis tools and metrics tracking to make data‑driven decisions and monitor product performance. Project Management: Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data‑driven decisions. Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Creative problem‑solving abilities and a passion for innovation. Steel toed boots or the ability to obtain prior to employment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proven experience as an IT Product Manager or similar role in the technology field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud computing.
