Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRitter Cardiology is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Ultrasonographer (Echocardiographer) to join our growing outpatient private cardiology practice in Fairfax, Virginia. We are a family-owned, patient-focused practice dedicated to providing personalized cardiovascular care in a welcoming outpatient setting.This is an excellent opportunity for a sonographer who enjoys working closely with physicians and patients in a collaborative private practice environment with a strong emphasis on quality care and preventive cardiology.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms independentlyPerform vascular ultrasounds and arterial and venous studiesPerform carotid ultrasoundsObtain accurate measurements and Doppler calculationsPrepare preliminary reports for physician interpretationEnsure patient comfort and provide compassionate care throughout testingMaintain echocardiography equipment and exam roomsAssist with stress echocardiography as neededMaintain accurate documentation within the EMR systemFollow ASE and practice protocols for image acquisition and quality standardsQualificationsRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or RCS credential preferredGraduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound programPrior echocardiography experience preferred (outpatient cardiology experience a plus)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient settingExperience with stress echo and vascular imaging is a plusWhat We OfferSupportive private practice environmentConsistent outpatient schedule — no hospital callCompetitive compensation based on experienceOpportunity to work closely with a solo cardiologist and small dedicated teamModern outpatient cardiology office with full diagnostic servicesFocus on personalized, preventive cardiovascular careLocationFairfax, VAJob TypePart-time
