Home Health Aid

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aids to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Howell, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in a comfortable home environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within their homes.
Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health status as directed.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
Document care provided and communicate any changes in clients' conditions to supervising staff.
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect in all interactions with clients and their families.

Requirements

Previous experience in home health care or a similar role is an asset, but NOT required.
Ability to pass backgrounds.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation to and from clients' homes is a plus.
Valid Driver's License or State ID is required for this position.
