Human Resources Assistant

Contract Role

Help support the overflow of the current workflow for 3-6 months 8am - 5pm (may be flexible to 8:30-5:30). Pay rate $17.00 - $22.00 (looking to stay around $20/hr). The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for various functions supporting the Human Resource department. Youll work closely with the site HR leader and cross-functional teams to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and comfortable balancing recruiting and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Duties:

• Review candidate profiles and conduct resume prescreens and use multiple interview techniques (phone, in-person, behavioral)
• Partner with department managers to collect relevant position information
• Work closely with managers to schedule and confirm interviews on their calendars
• Keep candidates updated throughout the hiring process to maintain a strong candidate experience

HR Duties:

• Schedule and coordinate pre-employment drug tests and background verification
• Support new-hire orientations if needed i.e.: New hire paperwork, I9, etc.
• Maintain records of recruiting activity in PeopleSoft and track search efforts
• Organize resumes and candidate profiles within company databases

Administrative Duties:

• Sort, classify, and file hard copy documents such as invoices, reports, correspondence, and forms using a variety of systems (e.g.
