Role Overview

Location: Bardstown, KY
Compensation: $28.00–$38.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | Multiple shifts available

You clock in to a clean, safety-driven fabrication floor where custom-engineered steel structures take shape for government, commercial, and industrial clients. Your morning begins by reviewing fabrication drawings and weld symbols, staging materials, and confirming measurements. Throughout the shift, you transition between MIG and TIG stations, assemble structural components per engineering specs, verify fit-up, and finish each pass with an eye for precision. Collaboration is constant — you sync with production and fabrication teammates to hit schedule targets while maintaining craftsmanship that makes you proud.

• Execute MIG and/or TIG welding on structural steel and fabricated assemblies.
• Interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols to guide build quality.
• Assemble parts and sub-assemblies per engineering specifications.
• Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and related fabrication equipment safely.
• Inspect and verify weld quality, accuracy, and conformance to requirements.
• Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to meet schedule commitments.
• Keep your work area organized, safe, and efficient.

• 3+ years of MIG or TIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Background working with structural steel and fabricated components.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Comfort using measuring tools: tape measures, squares, and calipers.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• AWS certification is a plus (not required).
