Assess patients’ oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the management of pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort during procedures. Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling, patient records, and treatment planning. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology. Familiarity with Open Dental software is preferred but not required. Taking dental radiographs. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
