Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex software systems that integrate Back-End, Data Analytics, and AI/Client technologies to enhance patient journeys and healthcare services at Baylor Scott & White Health.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and secure software solutions.
• Utilize expertise in Python, R, NLP, Machine Learning, Cloud (AWS, Azure), Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Kafka), Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB), Reporting Tools (Tableau, Power BI), ETL Tools (Informatica Power Centre), and Version Control Tools (Git) to architect innovative healthcare solutions.
• Implement EHR/EMR systems to ensure efficient management of electronic health records and enhance patient care delivery.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in designing and implementing software solutions using Python and R for data analysis and machine learning applications.
• Prior experience in architecting EHR/EMR systems within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with Kernel Density Estimation, K-Means, Linear Regression, Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Random Forests for predictive modeling in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform for scalable and secure data processing.
• Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Kafka for handling large volumes of healthcare data.
• Expertise in working with databases like SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Proficient in ETL processes using tools like Informatica Power Centre for seamless data integration.

Preferred Experience:

• Demonstrated success in implementing AI/Client models for healthcare applications such as patient diagnosis prediction or treatment optimization.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy standards to ensure compliance in software development.
