Position Overview

We are in search of a compassionate and proficient Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to enhance our dedicated team of imaging specialists. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure, explaining the process clearly and empathetically
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and care for imaging equipment efficiently, notifying appropriate personnel of any issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strongly preferred
