(Busiest day of the week)2 days back-to-back off during the week with Saturdays always off2PM start time – until work is doneFully climate-controlled warehouse – must be ok with chill environment (no freezer, just fridge around 35 degrees) nuts, fruits, veggies, fresh flower etc. are found at this distribution centerJob Overview:Responsible for having a strong understanding of the equipment he/she uses, pick locations, pallet building, productivity measures and safety procedures.Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Inspects assigned jack for safety issuesEnters the proper information into the productivity measureIdentifies the correct pick location and pick sequence in accordance to the orderPick the correct item and quantity, checking UPC's or item descriptionsPlaces pick labels on the side of the casesCorrectly identifies Master Case locationsIdentifies and immediately reports miss-located productsShrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required informationStages pallets in appropriate bayKeeps area clean and debris out of work areaImmediately informs a supervisor or manager of any potential safety threatsObtains aisle-cleaning assignmentOperates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient mannerReports to supervisor or leave any violation of company policyBuilds a stable and well cubed palletJob requirements:Minimum one year warehouse experience preferredExperience with electrical pallet jack, or similarAbility to select at established minimum rateExposed to temperatures ranging from 30 – 35 degrees FahrenheitGood judgement is required for this position as there may times when direct supervisor may not be immediately availableLifting objects weighing from less than 60lbs – 100 lbs. consistentlyOccasionally pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling and grippingUNFI is an Equal Opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all.
