Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore mobility and function
- Develop personalized treatment and discharge plans that put patients first
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Technicians in line with practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Uphold safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license (or the ability to obtain one)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- Flexibility to adapt to different facilities, schedules, and patient needs
Education
- Degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in physical therapy evaluation and treatment
- Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Supervisory and teaching skills
- Compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Adaptability and problem-solving
