Quality Control Technician
Location: El Paso, TX
Pay Rate: $19.40+ depending on experience
Position: On-Site
Assignment: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Job Summary
The Quality Control professional is responsible for performing quality inspections and in-process controls to ensure products meet established specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. This position supports manufacturing operations through sampling, inspection, documentation, and timely escalation of quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections and sampling according to approved procedures, specifications, and sampling plans.
- Ensure proper handling and traceability of samples throughout inspection and testing.
- Maintain accurate, complete, legible, and timely quality documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company policies, regulatory requirements, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances, abnormal conditions, and deviations using appropriate quality systems.
- Provide real-time feedback to operations to support containment and corrective actions.
- Support investigations by providing accurate data, sample traceability, and objective inspection evidence.
- Maintain quality records and support internal and external audits and audit-readiness activities.
- Follow all safety programs and maintain required GMP and safety training.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience using measurement and inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulatory standards.
- Understanding of SOPs, work instructions, and quality systems.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to identify and appropriately escalate quality issues.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to production operations and training areas.
- Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
