Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in St. Louis, MO. The role involves managing a caseload of foreclosure, title, and litigation matters for banks, investors, mortgage servicers, and other creditors. Duties Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on foreclosure procedures and local filing requirements. Handle complex title resolution matters, including title claims and quiet title actions. Review and analyze client and loan documents, title searches, and pleadings. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Attend hearings and settlement conferences as required. Communicate case statuses to clients via email and phone. Respond promptly to communications from various stakeholders. Escalate matters when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements 5+ years’ experience representing secured creditors/mortgage services preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment. Effective communication with legal and non-legal stakeholders. Self-starter attitude. Education J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Licensed and in good standing in Missouri; Kansas preferred; additional states a plus. Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with BKFS LoanSphere Default, Sagent Tempo preferred. Experience handling replevins is a plus. SharePoint experience is a plus. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
