Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to identify client needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively address client care and contribute to a holistic treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Greenleaf Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our remote teletherapy services allow clients from various backgrounds and locations to receive empathetic and effective mental health support. You will assist clients dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role falls within the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
