Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient environments and craft tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and at-home exercise programs
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress in alignment with facility and regulatory protocols
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric are a plus but not mandatory
