We are Flat Fee Shipping, a fast-growing e-commerce direct-to-consumer fulfillment company looking for an energetic, hands-on leader to run our daily production floor. We are looking for immediate full-time help. Full time is Monday through Friday, first shift 6am-2pm.

Position Overview

Flat Fee Shipping is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Production Lead to guide our warehouse team through daily pick, pack, and ship operations. You will lead from the floor, keep orders moving, and make sure every order due out today ships today. This position involves directing team members, solving problems as they come up, and working closely with warehouse management to keep production accurate, on time, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Assign tasks, set daily priorities, and guide a team of warehouse associates throughout the shift.
- Production Flow: Monitor order volume and workflow to make sure orders are picked, packed, and shipped before carrier cutoffs.
- Quality & Accuracy: Check work for accuracy and ensure orders are packed correctly, labeled properly, and shipped to client specifications.
- Training & Coaching: Train new team members on procedures, scanning equipment, and quality standards, and provide ongoing coaching.
- Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks, shortages, and recurring errors, and fix the root cause so they stop happening.
- Reporting & Data Entry: Use Excel and warehouse management software to track production numbers, report on shift results, and communicate status to management.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep work areas, packing stations, and supplies stocked, clean, and safe.
- Shipping & Receiving Support: Step in to verify shipments, returns, and product quantities when needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Manager, Inventory Control, and warehouse personnel to resolve issues and support daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills

- Approximately 2 years of warehouse, production, fulfillment, or related experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a lead or supervisory role (required).
- Experience with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and resolve problems.
- Basic Excel skills and accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Pay: From $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
