About this position Warehouse Operations Manager Lead a Warehouse Team at a well-established, successful, and growing Wholesale Distributor in Tualatin, OR. We have been distributing high‑quality products with customer excellence for over 100 years and are still going strong. We are looking for an experienced manager who can train and mentor our warehouse team, driving continued growth and success. Responsibilities Daily Warehouse Operations Warehouse employee team allocation and management Oversee receiving, processing, routing, staging, and loading of daily route delivery and transfer orders Coordinate receiving of bulk and package truck loads Leadership and Team Development Report to and work with the Branch Operations Manager to provide strong leadership and management of team assignments for accountability and alignment with our culture. Mentor, coach, and train team personnel on SOPs, responsibilities, and our culture of service, integrity, trust, grit, and ingenuity. Work closely with other team members and promote strong collaboration with direct and open communication. Inventory Management Collaborate with our Purchasing and Bulk Operations Department to maintain optimal inventory levels. Strategize with Bulk Operations and Warehouse Team to determine and optimize product organization. Fleet and Driver Support Collaborate with Fleet Coordinator/Driver Manager and driver team to ensure driver safety and performance. Support logistics of third‑party required fleet maintenance. Sales and Customer Service/Relations Communicate regularly with Sales Team and office staff to facilitate fulfillment, support growth, and provide superior customer satisfaction. Safety and Compliance Consistently promote and enforce safety policies and compliance requirements throughout the warehouse. Lead consistent and pertinent safety briefings with the warehouse team. Communicate safety, facility and compliance related concerns effectively to the Branch Operations Manager. Full‑time Position Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm + overtime as required to fulfil all job requirements. Compensation Highly competitive market wage salary based on experience and demonstrated success in the responsibilities and attributes of the position. Self‑reliant, highly‑motivated, creative problem‑solver, and team‑oriented. Supportive and understanding of customer service. Detail‑focused and goal‑driven. Safety conscious. Dependable mentor, effective coach, and over‑communicator. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with the ability to lift and move 50 lbs of product.
