Location 3443 MONTPELIER RD,HICKMAN, CA, 95323-9611,United States Base Pay $18.75 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Manage Others No Contact information Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io Description Operate and monitor processing equipment including meal line, butter mill, batch roaster, oil and dry roasters, and slicing machines Set up, start, adjust, and shut down machinery according to standard procedures Monitor product quality (color, size, texture, and defects) and reports any discrepancies. Identify and report equipment issues; perform minor troubleshooting as needed Safely operate forklift and pallet jack to move raw materials and finished goods Load and unload bins, equipment, and production lines Maintain accurate production and inventory records with full traceability Perform routine equipment and forklift inspections Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required Follow all safety, GMP, SQF, and company policies Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Assist in other production or warehouse tasks as needed Requirements What You Will Need 1-3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or nut processing environment. Basic math skills Forklift experience required Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, overtime and/or weekends as needed. At least 1 year of forklift driving experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. What Will Put You Ahead Hands-on experience with processing equipment. Ability to work in fast-paced environments Summary The Production Operator operates almond processing equipment and supports production and warehouse activities.
