Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: Telemetry certification, BLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Telemetry certification BLS Description: This position is within a newly renovated floor featuring spacious private rooms for patients. The unit typically has 26 beds. Staffing includes 4 to 5 RNs and 2 to 3 techs during both day and night shifts. Day shift typically consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 2 to 3 techs. Night shift typically consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 2 to 3 techs. Patient ratios are 1:6 or 1:7, depending on acuity. The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, and Posey bed alarms. EMR system used is Meditech. Experience with post-operative patients and ortho or neurosurgery is preferred. A high energy, friendly, and eager personality is the best fit for this unit. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff.
