Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, curating personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques targeted at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Work in collaboration with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and recommended home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress while adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and discussions to guarantee coordinated and comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
