PROJECT ENGINEER- NORCROSS, GA

Role As a Project Engineer at SteelFab, you’ll dive right into the fast-paced world of construction. In this full-time role, you’ll work with our Pre-Construction and team on a variety of projects. You’ll get hands-on experience and make an impact by taking on tasks like: This is an office-based position. Primary job duties will not be on project sites or manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Engage with the Estimating department to gather subcontractor pricing for new project estimates. Scope Analysis: Review and analyze subcontractor bids to ensure alignment with project specifications. Utilize company software to perform detailed material and labor take-offs. Prepare pricing recaps for senior leadership. Follow up on submitted bids and maintain strong customer relationships. Prepare and issue pricing for change order requests. Analyze design drawing revisions to identify and address scope changes to ensure alignment with project objectives. Assist in coordinating construction drawings, modeling, and submittal reviews. Gain hands-on experience with the fabrication flow and production processes, deepening your understanding of the entire construction lifecycle. Why SteelFab?
