Job Title: Customer Service Representative Employment Type: Temp to Hire Location: Northside, Jacksonville Pay: $21-$22 hr Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Job Summary: As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve customers by providing service information and resolving issues. To succeed in this role, you'll need to be extraordinary at multitasking and delivering solutions that move forward toward completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
• Verify information by comparing data entry to original source, calculating and verifying results, and proofreading and rechecking requirements.
• Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures and customer profiles are followed and updated.
• Ensure all supporting documents are accurate, available, and applicable to the customer order or shipment. Ensure documents are sent to the customer in a timely manner.
• Make recommendations regarding transportation and routing and assist in meeting customer requirements.
• Gather, sort, and file documents and information.
• Compile and submit accurate, regular, and timely reports as requested. Respond to internal and external emails and requests in a timely manner.
• Resolve service problems by clarifying the customer complaint, determining the cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best resolution, expediting corrective actions or adjustments, and following up to ensure complete resolution.
• Comply at all times with regulations, including internal policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), external government regulations, and customer policies and requirements.
• Answer phone calls and questions regarding products or services and direct customers to the appropriate contact.
• Train others in areas of proficiency or expertise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Capacity to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, technical/product information, policies/procedures, and/or government regulations.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to proactively resolve issues.
• Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of customer service, logistics, transportation, distribution, or related office experience preferred.
• Previous experience supporting customer orders, shipments, routing, or transportation coordination preferred.
• Experience working with operating systems, order management systems, or transportation/logistics software.
• Proven experience resolving customer issues in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• High school diploma or GED; additional education or training in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
