Job Details Shift: 12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: Nursys, License/Certificate Verification Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: - Experience: Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience required. NxStage experience preferred. - Unit Description: Cardiac ICU managing both cardiac medical ICU patients and Cardiac/Thoracic/Vascular Surgery ICU patients with devices like Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage. - Licensure/Certifications: Nursys, License/Certificate Verification required. - Checklist/Testing: Required onboarding exams include Ascension Pharmacology Exam, Ascension Specialty Exam, Ascension Core Competencies, and Ascension EKG Exam, among others. - Personal Health History: Required immunizations and tests include MMR, Hepatitis B, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, Tdap, and Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen. - Professional: Ascension onboarding requirements include education and employment verification, and background checks. - Professional References: Ascension requires 2 professional references for submission, and Ascension Profile and Criminal Background Check Results for onboarding.
