Lead Phlebotomist

Responsibilities Maintain adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow Provide training to phlebotomists Assist in payroll data input Act as a technical resource for blood draws Communicate lab issues to supervisors Interact with patients and medical staff Share on-call duties Provide input for performance appraisals Ensure coverage for inpatient rounds Requirements High School diploma or GED required Registration Phlebotomy Certificate preferred 1-3 years related work experience required Basic familiarity with computers Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in phlebotomy practices, including training and technical support for blood draws, while effectively managing staffing and workflow in a clinical environment.
