Part-Time Registered Dietitian – Assisted Living FacilitiesRD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for Assisted Living Facilities located throughout South and Central New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian seeking flexible, low-hour consulting work with the option to support one, two, or all three facilities, depending on your availability and preference. Each facility requires only 8 hours of on-site coverage per quarter, making this an ideal opportunity to supplement an existing schedule.Position Details:Facility Type: Assisted Living FacilitiesLocation: South and Central New JerseySchedule: FlexibleCoverage Options: Choose to support 1, 2, or all 3 locationsHours: 8 hours per quarter, per locationWork Arrangement: On-siteCompensation: $35.00–$42.00 per hour, based on experienceTravel Time: Paid at your regular hourly rate in addition to your working hoursMileage Reimbursement: Provided in addition to paid travel timeAt RD Nutrition Consultants, we value work-life balance and provide our consultants with competitive pay, professional autonomy, and flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle.Key Responsibilities:Review and approve menus for regular and therapeutic diets to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.Conduct periodic kitchen audits to assess food service operations, sanitation, and safety practices.Identify residents at nutritional risk and complete periodic nutrition assessments as needed.Collaborate with facility staff to provide recommendations that enhance meal quality and resident satisfaction.Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Qualifications:Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required).Current state licensure/certification, if applicable.Experience reviewing menus and conducting audits in assisted living or long-term care settings preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Comfortable using electronic documentation and menu systems.Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times.Ability and willingness to travel to the selected facility location(s) on a quarterly basis.About RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC:RD Nutrition Consultants is a nationally recognized consulting firm specializing in providing highly skilled Registered Dietitians to healthcare and senior living facilities across the United States.
