Employee Benefits Producer – Atlanta

Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Flexible – Hybrid or Remote Must reside in Atlanta
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000+

A well-established, independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Producer to build and grow its benefits practice in the Atlanta market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a true hunter and business developer who wants the freedom to build a book of business from the ground up. The agency has a strong existing commercial and personal lines client base, creating significant opportunities for cross-selling employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new employee benefits business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Build and manage your own book of business from the ground up.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing and renewals.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within an established commercial client base.
• Develop relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
• Coordinate with internal resources to provide excellent service to clients.
• Conduct your own marketing and business development activities.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience as an Employee Benefits Producer.
• Proven success developing and closing new business.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with small group and mid-sized employer benefits, approximately 10–500 employees/lives .
• A strong existing book of business is highly valued.
• Experience with a competing insurance agency is preferred.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working independently.
